Etching on laid paper with margins; plate mark: 193 x 280 mm, total: 218 x 296 mm; state II/2 or 3 in outstanding conditions, despite small rust stain towards the bottom right; Hollstein 2 with smaller measures (probably the exemplars examined were trimmed within plate, see reproducted sample on p. 169)
Op voorraad
On he bottom left two farmers walking with their dog. On the background and on the foreground on the right big trees and trunks of trees. Impressive etching, darker to enhance the foreground to the right and lighter on the left. Signed at the bottom within the plate: “Ruisdael f.”
