One of the six views surrounding the big map of Rotterdam designed by Romeyn de Hooghe and Johannes de Vouw. Here is ‘(He)’t Oude Hooft’, a small harbor facing a port. Figures in the foreground and a soldier firing a cannon towards the right. Lettered ‘M’ above to the right; on the flying cartouche in the sky: ”T OUDE-HOOFT’; signed on the bottom left: ‘D vou / f. ‘
