This print was part of the book ‘Het verheerlykt Nederland, of Kabinet van Hedendaagsche gezigten van steden, dorpen, sloten, adelyke huizen (…)’, Amsterdam, Tirion, 1745-1774. A few of the Spilman prints are engraved by someone other than himself. This prent is engraved by an artist with the initials G.C.

Copperplate engraving/etching of ”t Huis Appelenburg in de Nederbetuw’, in the Dutch province of Gelderland, as it appeared in 1732. Overall size: 97 x 124 mm; plate size: 84 x 110 mm. Good state. Some age related discolouration. Handlaid paper with watermark.
