In front of the pedestal an empty shield, prepared to contain the coat of arms of the portrayed. In the background a fortified city. Lettered below: ‘LUDOVICUS REQUESEN. MAG. COMEN. REG. CAST. RE.M. CON. GVB. ET CAP. GENERAL’. Signed bottom right: ‘CVSichem sculp’ (CVS monogrammed). Numbered above right: ‘fol: 24’. The print appeared in the following editions: E. van Meteren.
