Portrait of Emperor Charles V, with crown and richly embroidered fur-lined cloak. In one hand he holds a large sword, in the other an orb with a standing cross. He stands next to a pedestal with the helmet of his armour. The pedestal is decorated with his coat of arms. The background features a view of the sea, with ships and a dolphin. Numbered on the top left corner: fol: 16, signed below on the right: ‘CVSichem sculp. et excud.’ (CVS monogrammed). Lettered below: ‘CAROLUS QUINTUS IMPRATOR CAESAR AUGUSTUS’.
