Copperplate etching/engraving of the siege of Nijmegen, in the Dutch province of Gelderland, by Maarten Schenk in 1589. (plate 199). With explanatory caption surrounding the print. ca. 1616. Overall size: 17 x 23 cm; plate size: 13,5 x 15,8 cm. Good state. Age related discolouration and a spot in the left margin. Handlaid paper. Printed text on the verso of the print.
