Sythoff, 1858, 159pp., 20 b/w steel engravings with some foxing to the plates, 13×20 cm., original orange gilt title on spine, embossed linen binding, engraved title page (‘Leyden's ontzet’), cover a bit rubbed and some soiling to front and back, gilt title on spine, handwritten in ink on endpaper:’J.G.E. Bunge, ten geschenke gekregen van papa en Mama, 25 December 1863′. Bunge was a relative of the famous Bunge family of Kareol in Aerdenhout.
