Amsterdam, G W Tielkemeijer, [1850], 98pp., [6] lithograph and beautifully handcoloured plates, attractive tooled linen binding, gilt title on front and spine, binding loose but still connected to block, plates are in pristine condition, no soiling. 1st edition, written by Elise who is Eliza Carolina Ferdinanda van Calcar (1822-1904). Contains the following stories: De jonge boschneger; Tevredenheid ; De godsdienstoefening in de grot ; Wanhoop nooit ; Hoolands bondgenoot.
