With handwritten dedication in ink on free endpaper: ‘Ontvangen van TT G. Later bestemd voor Antoinette Jacoba Gleichman van hare hartelijk liefhebbende moeder’ Antoinette Gleichman (1870-1935) was the daughter of Thomas Theodore Gleichman and Johanna Elisabeth Hoynck van Papendrecht. The book was firstly donted by the husband to the wife, than to her daughter. She married Dirk Willem de Monchy in 1895.
