Without place or printer, 1627, without binding, red sprinkled edges, 22+[4]pp., stained titlepage and some ink stains inside, damaged spine with tears along the the foldlines of the signatures and loose inner leaves. With some lovely decorative elements: woodcut vignet on titlepage and last page, woodcut initial. The main text is followed by 4 pages where Dutch translations are offered of obscure phrases in foreign languages (‘Verduytschinghe van de duysterste uytheemsche spreucken in dit schrift gestelt’). Printed in Gothic (Dutch) and Roman (foreign languages) fonts. With a contemporary handwritten note on the last page referring to another text.
