In the top putti with Red Cross armbands sit around bandage chests, to the left and right of a portrait of an unidentified military man.
Chromolithograph on wove paper, sheet size 390 x 470 mm. Designed and drawn by D.L. Kohlman, and printed by Geuze (Dordrecht). With a four-line poem in the lower left.
In very good condition. Some scattered foxing (mostly in the margins, a few spots in the sky of the image area). A strip of cloth is pasted to the top margin verso, for previous attachment to carrier. An ink stamp indicates this print was once part of the print collection of the municipality of Vlaardingen (not in Lugt).
