Aquatint portrait in etched decorative border, on hand laid paper, sheet size 231 x 170 mm. Engraved by Mademoiselle Noté after Lambert, published in the series 'Collection générale des Portraits de MM. les Députés à l'Assemblée Nationale Constituante, tenue à Versailles le 4. Mai 1789'. This series was published by Nicolas-François Le Vachez in 1789.
We have not been able to establish any further information on 'Mademoiselle Noté'.
Jean Baptiste Ponce Lambert (active at the end of the eighteenth and beginning of the nineteenth century) was a French painter.
In very good condition, cropped within platemark. Margin edges faintly browned.
