Aquatint portrait in etched decorative border, on hand laid paper, sheet size 232 x 173 mm. Engraved by Pierre-Michel Alix after Lambert, published in the series 'Collection générale des Portraits de MM. les Députés à l'Assemblée Nationale Constituante, tenue à Versailles le 4. Mai 1789'. This series was published by Nicolas-François Le Vachez in 1789.
Pierre-Michel Alix (Paris 1762-1817) was a French engraver, etcher, illustrator and painter.
Jean Baptiste Ponce Lambert (active at the end of the eighteenth and beginning of the nineteenth century) was a French painter.
In very good condition, some minimal soiling in the margin edges.
