14,5x23cm, original mid 19th century folder (enveloppe) with two lealfets for writing. lithographs by Phil. Overlack from Cologne. Front with lettering and ornaments and back of enveloppe with a view of Kissingen, extremely scarce in this state, very attractive early souvenir of this kurort Kissingen. View of les collonades, and the same view on the two leaflets of writing paper. F.A. Zapf is listed in a guide from 1866 as providing lodgings in Kissigen. Later there is mention of a Hotel Garni F.A. Zapf. These kind of souvenirs were normally used by the touristst and did not survive.
