Engraving on wove paper, sheet size 243 x 155 mm., platemark 160 x 122 mm. Engraved by Johann Georg Nordheim after the 'Lichtbild' by Vogel, and published in Meyers Konversationslexicon, c. 1850
Johann Georg Nordheim (Gehaus 1804 – 1854 Hildburghausen) was a German (reproductive) steel engraver, who specialised in portraits.
In very good condition, minimal discolouration in the margins. Right edge uneven from binding.
