Theo van Hoytema (The Hague 1863 – 1917) was a Dutch decoration and interior painter, ceramic painter, watercolorist, printmaker (and especially lithographer) as well as painter. He made numerous calendars with bird illustrations, as well as fairy tale illustrations. He often drew animals from live or dead models in zoos and zoological museums.
In fair condition, some dampstains in the top, right and lower margins. Sheet browned overall. The image area generally clean.
