Woodcut on wove paper, sheet size 303 x 393 mm., image size c. 223 x 320 mm. Made by Jaap Veldheer, before 1905 (according to an annotation on the verso).
Jacbous Gerardus ('Jaap') Veldheer (Haarlem 1866 – 1954 Blaricum) was a Dutch painter, etcher, graphic artist and designer.
In very good condition. Some discolouration (from previous matting) around the image area. A small, neatly restored, tear in the image area, with some minimal surface damage visible.
