Etching and drypoint on laid paper. Sheet size 280 x 214 mm., platemark 140 x 110 mm. Made by Léon Lhermitte, signed in the plate lower right.
Léon Lhermitte (Mont-Saint-Père 1844 – 1925 Paris) was a French naturalist painter and etcher whose primary subject was rural scenes depicting peasants at work.
In very good condition, very light discolouration from matting around the image.
