Without place or printer, [1820], 4to., half leather binding with marbled paper, red sprinkled edges, 44 pp. The binding shows some wear and tear but the construction is solid and the printwork is beautiful. The book consists of an engraved titlepage followed by 44 beautiful engraving depicting scenes from Ovid's Metamorphosis. Each engraving is accompanied by a caption in Latin. The engravings were printed on single sheets and bound on small folded strips of light blue paper (stubs).
