Etching on hand laid paper, made by Karel Dujardin after his own design. Sheet size 97 x 74 mm., dated 1655.
Karel dujardin (1622-1678) spent a long time as an artist working in Italy. He made many etchings of animals and Italian landscapes.
In good condition, cropped to the platemark, a small, dark stain in the lower right corner. Some surface soiling, otherwise fine.
