The standing man smokes a pipe while in his other hand he holds the harness to restrain his child from running off.
Etching on hand laid paper, sheet size 95 x 143 mm., platemark 83 x 131 mm., made by Pieter de Mare (1758-1796) after Christina Chalon (Amsterdam 1749-1808 Hazerswoude).
