Gerbrand van Leeuwen (1643-1721) was a university professor and pastor.
Mezzotint on hand laid paper, sheet size 189 x 257 mm., platemark 138 x 193 mm., made by Pieter Schenk (1660-1713) in Amsterdam, c. 1700. With a four-line poem in Dutch by Ludolf Smids (1649-1720).
In very good condition, a small stain in the right margin.
