Two pigs lying on the ground near a fence and a tree trunk, a trough to the left.
Etching on hand laid paper, sheet size 161 x 129 mm., etching by Marcus de Bye (1638-1688) after Paulus Potter (1625-1654), published c. 1660.
An excellent impression in good condition, cropped within platemark, a faint stain in the top right corner. Tipped onto a sheet with half of an engraving of various sea shells on it.
