Half-length portrait of Carolus Scribani (1561-1629), a Flemish Jesuit and writer.
Engraving on hand laid paper with foolscap watermark, sheet size 275 x 365 mm., platemark 196 x 266 mm. Engraved by Peter Clouwet (or Petrus Clouet, 1624-1670), after Anthony van Dyck (1599-1641), ca. 1650.
In excellent condition, some very faint discolouration of the margin edges.
