'Guilielmus Nassavius, Princeps Auriacus, etc.'
Etching and engraving on laid paper, sheet size 361 x 446 mm., platemark 358 x 437 mm. The portrait was engraved by Jonas Suyderhoef, after Pieter Soutman. Soutman is also credited with engraving the border of putti and arms, with a crown, laurel and oak wreaths in the corners. The print was published by Pieter Soutman in the 1643 series 'Comites Nassoviae'
Margin cropped close to the platemark. A few thin spots and a tiny hole in the margins, a tiny hole in the top left corner of the image area. Right margin restored with archival tape and paper on the verso.
