The Hague ('s-Graven-Haghe), By de Weduwe ende Erfgenamen van wijlen Hillebrant Iacobssz van Wouw, Ordinaris Druckers vande Hog. Mog. Heeren Staten Generael, 1626, 4to., contemporary half leather binding with marbled paper, ribbed spine and red sprinkled edges, 97 pp. (handwritten). With a woodcut emblem on the titlepage depicting the royal Dutch lion, a beautiful decorative inital, printed in a Gothic font. Includes a second titlepage: ‘Beeldenaer, ofte Figuer-boeck dienende op de nieuwe Ordonnantie vander Munte (…), The Hague, By de Weduwe ende Erfgenamen van wijlen Hillebrant Iacobssz van Wouw, Ordinaris Druckers vande Hog. Mog. Heeren Staten Generael, 1626.’ The numismatic book is filled with beautiful woodcut illustrations of coins. A contemporary and neatly handwritten index with pagenumbers has been made on the blank page preceeding the first titlepage. Apart from the discoloured endpapers (one flyleaf has come loose), the book is in excellent condition with clear pages and beautiful printwork.
