Due to its popularity only a few of the original editions survied.This book is full of riddles. Not only for the philologist and historian, but also for the reader in search of entertainment. written by Casper Werner Baertius, Magdeburgensis also known as Kaspar Barth, Johannes Neander and Johannes de Neef and Jean de Lalaing. The text is of an erotic nature and the illustrations can be seen in two ways. The illustrations are considered to have been made by Crispijn de Passe and Gillis van Scheyndel.
