VI+20+77+200 pages text, handcoloured engraved titlepages, clean text & 532 attractively hand coloured engraved plates (some minor staining to last few engravings) depicting coats-of-arms of the Dutch nobility, contemporary half leather binding, gilt title on spines, marbled boards and marbled flyleaves, some damage to top of spine of second volume, back of second volume loose, otherwise good condition. L.A. van Weleveld was an employee of the Supreme Council of Nobility (Hoge Raad van Adel) and author of standard works on Dutch heraldry.
