Hilversum, 1910, 31 pages, leather morocco binding, spine damaged, front hinge loose, donated by ‘Nonnie’ (printed: Een afscheidsgroet van..) to Lien Tresling (written in ink on flyleaf, possibly Roelinda Tresling). With ‘De Schepping Indisch Poeem’ and ‘De dorre bladeren’ translated from Spanish by N. Schmidt-Reineke, Gustavo Adolfo Claudio Domínguez Bastida (February 17, 1836 – December 22, 1870), better known as Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer was a Spanish Romanticist poet and writer (mostly short stories), also a playwright, literary columnist, and talented in drawing. Today he is considered one of the most important figures in Spanish literature. He adopted the alias of Bécquer as his brother Valeriano Bécquer, a painter, had done earlier.
