Dresden, in der Gröllischen Buchhandlung, 1775, 8vo., hardcover with paper and cloth corners, sprinkled edges, [12]+141 pp., only slightly stained, covermaterial on the spine somewhat worn, otherwise in good condition, solid construction, printer's mark on title page (labor ipse voluptas), with some lovely head and tail pieces. Friedrich Gottlieb Barth (1738-1794) was a German philologist and writer. Ownership signature in ink on titlepage (W. Schooten 1878) and Ex Libris (M. Iohannis Christophori Koenig).Johann Christoph König (Philologist) (1754-1812), German teacher, librarian and philologist. Some notes on the front flyleaf. German text printed in a Gothic font, Latin in a Roman font and Ancient Greek in a Greek font.
