Beschrijving
The note (oblong, 20×14 cm) is written in French, signed by the police commissioner (name difficult to read) and dated to Haarlem, 14 March 1842. The note states that the man in question is well known to Haarlem and that he should be arrested upon arrival. Single leaf with handwriting on one side, with a stamp depicting a crowned eagle with a zigzag shaped arrow, surrounded with unclear words, one word reads: ‘police’.
