Batavia, Lang & Co, 239 pages, with porcelain engraved titlepage (porseleinplaatje), previously owned by Lese Bibliothek von C. Fr. Eichhoff, editor was F.J.H. van Deinse, with work from: Kool, Duvelaar van Campen, Rinia van Nauta, Van der Elst, Tollens, Bik, Knuttel, Caspersz, Van Schuijlenburch, Burer, Van Blommestein, Grimmius and others, later half linnen binding with marbled boards, example of the rare Warnasarie's, a series of literary year books published in Batavia (Nederlands Indie, Dutch East Indies) between 1848 and 1858 (11 in total), with contributions in prose and poetry by most members of the small literary circle of Batavia at that time Rob Nieuwenhuys, 'Oost-Indische Spiegel', pp. 124-25.
