Wageningen/Vught/Zwolle, 1808-1831. Album Amicorum with 20 contributions on seperate leaves (gilded edges) with decorated paper cover and fitted inside an attractive booklike box with gold tooling and a gilded title on the spine (Souvenir d'Amitie). The contributions are diverse: handwritten poems, needle point work, drawings in pencil and ink, paintings, an interwoven decoration. One entry is dedicated to Jenny, by her loving father. Writings are in French or Dutch, some contibutions are signed (mostly family members and some friends), dated (1808-1831) and located (Wageningen or Vught). Recurring family names: Van Daalen, Vollenhoven van Daalen, Nielo and Phaff. The full name of Jenny is probably Jenny Vollenhoven van Daalen, her brother is Hendrik Willem Vollenhoven van Daalen (1805-1884).
