Amsterdam, Jacobus Borstius, 1723, 8vo., full parchment spitsel binding (spitselband) with ribbons as means of closure, decorative blind tooling on the front and back cover, decorative speckled edges, 480+102 pp, the parchment shows some stains and two pages have been cut out, but otherwise in excellent condition, printer's mark both title pages (featuring a palm tree and the Latin device ‘Ut palma virescit’ which translates ‘as the palm flourishes,’ alluding to Psalm 92:12.
