Amsterdam, Gebroeders van Staden, 1845, 8,5×5 cm, green paper binding, one half of the brass clasp construction remains, on the inside of the back cover there is a folded paper pocket to store small items (one side is damaged), no page numbers in the first part, the second part counts 32 pp. followed by more unnumbered pages. Apart from the damage to the binding and the paper pocket in the back, the book is in excellent condition. Several woodcuts: one on the title page and seven in the second part of the book (‘Nieuw geopend, Prentenkabinet van belangrijke tafereelen’) showing: Rotterdam's town hall, the The Hague museum Mauritshuis, the Amsterdam Exchange (Beurs), the church tower of Delft, a memorial in Egmond aan Zee (Van Speyk), a statue in Vlissingen (A. de Ruyter), a statue in Haarlem (Laurens Koster).
