– 1917 35×26 good 41 pages with 25 original photographs. The manuscript written by J. Blank relates to a sailing trip from Warmond, de Kaag via Amsterdam to Muiden and further on the Zuiderzee (currently Ijsselmeer) with two sailing ships:’Narwal’ and the ‘Eenvoud’. Amongst others with Johannes Luite (?), Johannes (Jan) Linse (the painter), From Muiden they sailed to Urk, Lemmer, Enkhuizen, Hoorn, Volendam, and return to Warmond by the same route. They meet E.H. Crone and there is a photograph of mr Crone and his ship (Mercur?). The story, or parts of it, seems to have been published in Watersport 1917. Includes recent correspondence between A.G. van der Steur and G.F. Walberg (Zuiderzee Museum) concerning possible publication of this travel log. The story is a good read!
