's-Graven haghe (Den Haag), Hillebrant Iacobssz, 1619, 12 pages 8vo Rombout Hogerbeetz was tried for treason, together with Johan van Oldenbarnevelt, Hugo Grotius and Gilles van Ledenberg during the political crisis of 1617-1618 in the Dutch Republic and sentenced to life-imprisonment. He shared Loevestein prison with Grotius. This is the original judgment rendered against Hogerbeets on 18 May 1618. Signed by H. Potz on behalf of the judges.
