Illustrated with hundreds of (mostly) clear woodcuts by Christoffel van Sichem II (1581-1658). According to RKD: ‘Van Sichem made a large number of woodcuts (e.g. after A. Bloemaert, H. Goltzius and M. van Heemskerck) for several publications; many of his prints he put together in: C. van Sichem, Der zielen Lust-Hof 'I. Iacobsz. Leuven' [Amsterdam] 1629; C. van Sichem, Bibels tresoor, ofte Der zielen lvsthof, Amsterdam (P.I. Paets) 1646; C. van Sichem en H. Hugo, 't Schat der zielen, dat is: het geheele leven ons Heeren Iesu Christi: naer de vyer euangelisten, Amsterdam (Pieter I.P. = Pieter Jacobsz. Paets) 1648.’
Judging by the missing sections, it is possible that some woodcuts have been collected seperately. Purchasing individual woodcuts can be discussed, since the book is already incomplete.
