Beschrijving

It concerns a full leather binding with ribbed and gold tooled spine, there are marbled endpapers, red sprinkled edges and the original ribbon (page marker) is intact. There is some damage to the leather of the binding: the back hinge is developing a crack, there is some damage to the head of the spine (in Dutch: ‘kapje’) and the leather is worn along the edges, especially the back cover. The book block is mostly clean (some waterstains) and very solid, the connection to the binding is intact.
