Bust portrait of Alexander Farnese, Duke of Parma in an oval within a rectangle. Oval frame lettered: ‘ALEZANDER FARNESIUS PARMAE ET PLACENTIAE DUX…’ and signed on the bottom on both sides of the oval: ‘Hieronymus / Wierix sculp’. On the verso collector’s marks: ‘Pim van Eekelen’ [not in Lugt] and ‘Dubbel MB’ from the Museum Boymans [L. 700a]
