Three elaborate cupboard designs, a 'Schlafsessel' (sleeping chair) and a chimney. All five are depicted within rich interiors. These prints are part of various sets published by Jeremias Wolff in Augsburg.
Etching and engraving on laid paper, sheet sizes ca. 190 x 300 mm. (3x), and 240 x 365 mm. (2x), platemark 177 x 283 mm. (3x), and 193 x 300 mm. (2x). Made by Georg Lichtensteger, Johann August Corvinus and Johann Jakob Schübler after designs by Schübler. Published by Jeremias Wolff in Augsburg, c. 1680-1725.
Georg Lichtensteger (Nuremberg 1700-1781) was a German printmaker and publisher, as well as art dealer. Johann August Corvinus (Leipzig 1683-1738 Augsburg) was a German engraver and etcher, active in Augsburg. Johann Jakob Schübler (Nuremberg 1689-1741) was a German designer, architect and mathematician. Jeremias Wolff (Augsburg 1663-1724) was a German draughtsperson and publisher, although he initially trained as clockmaker.
Set in good condition, with some general (damp)stains in the margins or corners, some creasing and soiling overall. The two bigger sheets have a horizontal middle fold, as well as some old restorations of small tears or holes. All five attached to carrier sheets.
