Oval portrait of André-Hercules de Fleury (1653-1743), Bishop of Fréjus and cardinal who served as the chief minister of Louis XV.
Engraving on hand laid paper, sheet size 332 x 460 mm. Engraving by François Chereau (I) (1680-1729) after Hyacinthe Rigaud (1659-1743).
In very good condition, with remains of mounting to the top margin verso. Left and right margins cropped to or over the platemark.
