Leopold, 1924, 16.5×24.5 cm, red buckram cover with golden lettering on spine and on the front, with a printed illustration in black and gold on the front cover, [12]+260+[6] pp., apart from some foxing and some damage to the page next to the endpapers it is a good copy. This edition has a signed portrait of Couperus after a photograph by E.D. Hoppé and 23 pages with reproduction of photographs Couperus collected on his journey. Some of these photographs were taken by Thilly Weissenborn (Foto-Atelier Lux, Garoet – Java).
