Serie of 8 remarkable plates with views on Rome. After 1681 5 (numbered) The Trajan Column and the 16th century church of Stanta Maria di Loreto (near today’s Piazza della Madonna di Loreto) in Rome. Crowded with citizens walking around the square: a priest wit a boy is walking towards the church, a fruit vendor on the right, on the left women and men are entertaining each other in a conversation. Below: “1. Colom van Trajanus. 2. Kerk van S.t Maria van Loreto.”
